65 years at your service

History

Maddocks-Myers Jewellers was Originally known in 1947 as Maddocks The Clock Shop, owned and operated by Jim and Helen Maddocks. Dennis Myers joined the sales staff in 1964 apprenticing under Jim Maddocks, then proceeded to formalize his training by obtaining his degree in Horology (watch and clockmaking). They incorporated in 1972 as Maddocks-Myers Jewellers Ltd. and have been serving Chatham-Kent since.

Once located at 196 Queen Street the operation relocated to 240 Grand Ave East, Chatham, at Jim Maddocks retirement in 1989.

Dennis now has 48 years of experience and is the only certified Horologist (watchmaker) in Chatham. A large part of the business is devoted to jewellery repair and design, as well as repairs for watches, clocks and home servicing of grandfather clocks.

Maddocks-Myers has a reputation for serving the community with the honesty and integrity it was founded upon in 1947 when started by Dennis' Father-in-Law, Jim Maddocks. Owned and operated by Dennis and Laurel Myers, the business continues to thrive because of its history of providing trustworthy service and quality merchandise at the best possible prices.

We strive to make service the word our business stands by and will continue to faithfully serve the community of Chatham-Kent for years to come.
